How to determine your bracelet size Go to Top of Page
Simply measure the circumference of your wrist with a measuring tape, string or a paper strip, measure the string or paper strip with a ruler then add 1/2″ to 1″ ( ” = inches ) to determine your perfect size, taking into account your preference of tightness. Generally, bracelets are worn relatively loose, adding 1/2″ to 1″ to the measure. 7 1/2″ fit most and custom made from 5″ to 9″, in 1/2″ increments, orders may take a little longer time on custom made items. Bracelets size may affect prices, for a quote you on a special size you can Contact Us.

How to measure ring size Go to Top of Page
Accurately measuring your finger for rings is pretty simple.

  1. Cut a strip of paper or a piece of string. The paper should be no wider than 3/4″ and at least 4″ long.
  2. Wrap the paper or string around the base of the finger to be sized. Make sure it is below the joint of your ringer and close to your knuckle.
  3. Mark the string or paper where it completes the circle. It should neither be too tight, nor slip off easily.
  4. Measure the length of the paper or string. Measure from the beginning to the mark with a ruler or tape measure in inches.
  5. Find the measurement on the chart to bellow to find the corresponding ring size.

Gold Filled will not tarnish Go to Top of Page
Gold Filled or Rolled Gold will not tarnish, but will get dirty. Clean it with a soft rag, or preferably a jewelry cloth. Always store it in a jewelry box.

Sterling Silver normally will tarnish Go to Top of Page
Owners of sterling silver jewelry knows that it tarnish and that requires constant cleaning, if you don’t want to clean sterling silver, then you have the option of my 14 kt gold filled jewelry, Gold Filled will not tarnish.
Sterling Silver will tarnish, it will need to be cleaned with a jewelers’ cloth, and if it is badly tarnished a little baking soda and water made into a paste can be rubbed onto it. If needed, you can scrub lightly with a toothbrush and the baking soda paste. Rinse well with water. Always store your jewelry in a jewelry box for safe keeping and protection against tarnish.

What is 14 Kt Gold Filled or Rolled Gold wire ? Go to Top of Page
Gold Filled or Rolled Gold is made from solid “gold” and “filled” with other alloys. A seamless tube of 14 kt. gold is fused over brass, bronze or silver. Gold Filled wears like solid gold because its outer surface is solid gold. Electroplating is NOT a part of this process. Gold Fill is 100 to 150 times thicker than regular gold plating. Gold Filled wire are made also in 12 Kt, but I only use the more expensive one of 14 Kt, with more gold content than the 12 Kt.
Gold Filled wire is a professional jewelers’ wire made by forming a tube of solid 14k gold and filling it with jewelers’ brass for added strength. There’s 100 times more gold in a gold filled piece of jewelry than in something gold plated. Rolled Gold jewelry will not flake, tarnish or chip under normal use. As a matter of fact, there are still pieces of gold filled jewelry around from the 18th Century. The price of Gold Filled or Rolled Gold wire actually fluctuates with the daily gold market. The Rolled Gold will hold up life if taken care of, whereas plated gold will chip and flake.

Which are the advantages of gold filled ? Go to Top of Page
Price!! Why pay several hundred dollars for the same piece of jewelry, when you can get if for a fraction of the cost? It will still look, last, and wear like solid gold. It is real gold. It will last for generations as long as it is taken care of, just like solid gold. Gold Filled has been referred to as the “Gold of the Future” because it offers all the same physical characteristics as solid gold such as beauty, durability, and strength, but at a fraction of the cost. Since the gold is on the outer surface area, it is nearly impossible to tell the difference between solid gold and Gold Filled, except when it comes to the cost!

Why Sterling Silver over Fine or Pure Silver ? Go to Top of Page

Sterling Silver, or .925 silver, is much stronger than Fine Silver. We make our jewelry out of Sterling Silver because it is much more durable, plus it is less costly. Not only will it last longer, we can pass on the savings to you, our customer. If we used Fine Silver, it would not stand up to any type of general wear and tear, it is too soft. It could only be worn for a very limited amount of time and then be taken off, properly cared for and then immediately put away. With Sterling Silver, you can wear it as you will under normal circumstances.
